What's wrong with the stuff you do? I could never paint like that. Each person has their own style and yours is great, Never change!!!
Hey there!
Thanks a lot for your comment on my Custom Jem design. It was modelled and textured using Cinema 4D. Keep an eye out, there's more to come hopefully!
Take care.

Clint.
Hey Meena, many many thanks for the comment on my page! I appreciate it very much! Nod

I've added you to my Deviant Watch. You've got great talent. :) (Smile)

Take care,

Wil
First off! Thanks :) (Smile) Yes, you are the first and last one on that picture who really made an actually nice approach :) (Smile) And yes, I though I'll take my time to answer detailed :) (Smile)

"While I think that in general, your photographs are fairly well-taken (better than I could ever do), I find that they are all really, really similar. That is, pics of you in thoughtful poses. Often featuring your eyes as the focal point or "main attraction" of the photograph."

That's cuz I explore myself, I guess. Also, I always got different situations, different scnes/backgrounds btw...O_o

"Now... I understand that some artists are big on the whole self-portrait thing, and if that's what makes you happy, fine. Keep doing it. I'm not critisizing. But personally, I don't see how anyone can grow, as an artist, if they keep taking pictures of the same thing. Or drawing the same thing. Painting the same thing. Same, same, same. Just different angles, different lighting, but ultimately, the same."

Some call that studies ;) (Wink) Studying photography you learn to take your time with just one topic instead of going around and trying everything you see but to have the patience to do a series which is developing in itself, exactely as I a, in my early stage, just trying out with myself and nature (the two main topics within my gallery nature (forest/sea) and me, myself, since I am one of those who try to discover themselves (btw, I am an actress and singer and als NEED to explore what my expressions etc are like...but this maybe doesn't belong here as an argumentative point...I don't know, you decide :) (Smile) )

""Variety is the spice of life", goes the old saying. And I agree. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with your work. But I think that if you want to grow as an artist, you might want to try something different once in a while. I know, I know, perhaps taking photographs of yourself is enjoyable, maybe you love it... so hey, then, you know what they say, "keep doing what you love". But if it were me, I'd throw in some twists. Different elements. Splashes of color, unexpected scenery, unusual angles, odd situations, interesting outfits, varied make-up. For fun. Just to see how it turned out. "

*lol* Take a look at my photographypage, look at my drawings, at my photos, they are all so different...yes, the portraits maybe not to everyone but only those who see and feel the different situations of my life they have been taken in.. but it is a fact, that I am most experimental. I don't need to prove it actually, but decided to actually upload it after all the harsh and partly hurting critic.

"I mean, what do you have to lose? Experimentation can provide some very interesting and sometimes wonderful and surprising results. You should try it. You might like it."

I try more than anyone else at DA it seems *lol* Maybe jasinski, lost girl, eilidh, jezebel and enayla do it at the same level (yes, surely partly more :) (Smile) ) than me :) (Smile) And, if you would for example follow my drawingstyles you'd find much more than a handful which are ONLY experiments...Btw, I hate it when people talk without checking first if their "facts" are right :) (Smile)

"Anyhow... about this picture in particular. The one thing that bothers me about it is that, at first glance, it looked to me like you had no right arm, until I realized that it's kind of behind your back, a bit. But even after realizing that, it still kind of bothers me that it looks like you're missing the arm, and that makes it hard for me to focus on the rest of the picture. The other thing that I would have done different (and this is just me) would have been to give the photograph a less "grainy" feel (it looks really grainy to me). I think a smoother look would have been better suited. On the positive side, I do love the blue tones. A lot."

yeah, the arm, that bothered me too, in the other pic it is even worse, but the sun went down when I downloaded the pics and I didn't have the light anymore to do them again :) (Smile) Thanks so much for honesty, much appreciated and much respected.

Have a nice day and please reply and don't feel offended, I amhappy to finally have a "nice" and "plausible" critic instead of emotional and hurting me.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

Fella Point Right spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
Ninja Point Right I know. That's why it's going to work.

Do not try and bend the spoon ...
thank you for the comment on my ferris wheel piece..
youve got some really great work! i must come back and check it out! :) (Smile)
Oh, the comment about female nudity is so true. There's so much bad photography out there done by camwhores that gets added to favs, even though it looks like d grade Europorn. It's dusgusting.

I love your art though. Heart
